About GTCFI
GT Cargo Fittings India Pvt. Ltd. (GTCFI) is a wholly owned subsidiary of GT Factors Ltd, a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of cargo restraint equipment. GTCFI was established in India in 2000, when GT Factors transferred the machinery and manufacturing operations of its former Swedish business to a new production facility in India. Since then, the company has developed into a large, vertically integrated manufacturer supplying cargo restraint products and components to customers around the world.
GTCFI specialises in the manufacture of cargo restraint equipment, including ratchet straps, lifting slings and other complete load-securing systems. We also manufacture many of the individual components used within these products, including ratchet buckles, hooks, end fittings, webbing and other metal hardware. This allows us to supply both complete finished products and individual components to distributors, manufacturers and original equipment customers.

Our manufacturing capabilities cover the complete production process, from raw steel, wire and yarn through to tested and packaged finished products. These capabilities include metal pressing, wire forming, drop forging, manual and robotic welding, heat treatment, hardening, electroplating, powder coating, webbing manufacture, dyeing, heat setting, industrial sewing, assembly and in-house testing. Keeping these processes within our own facilities gives us greater control over product quality, consistency, traceability and production lead times.
As a UK-owned manufacturer with manufacturing operations in India, GTCFI combines established cargo restraint knowledge with skilled people, modern machinery and scalable production capacity. Our approach is based on clear specifications, controlled manufacturing processes, continuous improvement and thorough inspection throughout production. Quality is not treated as a final-stage activity; it is considered at every step, from the selection and inspection of raw materials through to final testing, documentation and despatch.
Alongside our standard product range, we work closely with customers to manufacture products to their own drawings, samples, branding and performance requirements. Whether the requirement is for a single component, a custom strap assembly or a complete cargo restraint system, our engineering and production teams can support product development, tooling, sampling, testing and ongoing manufacture.
Today, GTCFI employs more than 300 people across over 100,000 square feet of manufacturing space. Our continued investment in equipment, automation, people and quality systems enables us to provide dependable manufacturing support to customers seeking safe, consistent and reliable cargo restraint products.
